Sarah Moon
“Earth Advantage” Certification
Licensed Broker – OR
Although born in South Dakota, Sarah has now spent more than half her life as an Oregonian. An accomplished singer, guitarist and songwriter, she has released no less than three albums during a parallel musical career; Sarah Moon has performed across the US, Canada, Europe & Mexico. A rock ‘n roll specialist, one of her current projects includes playing Nancy Wilson’s
guitar parts for “Barracuda – a Heart Tribute Band.” She recently performed in France during the time of the last World Cup and unknowingly sung what the Irish team used as their team song – “Zombie” by the Cranberries – which lit up the abundant crowd of soccer fans in the audience and became a memorable moment of connecting with strangers halfway across the world.
Real estate might seem like a world away, but Sarah says she “came to it naturally” and in fact, she is a third generation Realtor! Her grandmother owned RE/MAX West in the Portland suburb of West Linn, and Sarah herself has been a licensed Broker for 13 years now. Her client- centered approach is the perfect complement to one of her specialty niches:finding (and selling) homes for people in the music industry, especially creative spaces ideal for home recording studios and practice spaces. She’s helped musicians and studio engineers alike over the years.
A bit of a foodie, Sarah loves exploring Portland’s latest dining hot spots. Thai, Ethiopian and Mediterranean cuisines in particular are favorites. The way to her heart might be falafel. She loves cooking too; her passion for performance and years spent traveling across many countries and continents have nurtured this other outlet of creativity and expression. But if she isn’t holding a spatula or a guitar, she’s probably out turning house keys to find the right home for a client, prepping her next listing for market, or dreaming of her next trip to Tropea, a Calabrian village overlooking the Mediterranean sea.
